When a baby is hospitalized, the cost for families traveling back and forth each day can quickly add up. In many cases, the added financial hardship of daily transportation often burdens parents and prevents them from spending valuable time at their child’s bedside.

That’s why Union Health Foundation created the NICU Fuel Assistance Fund. Current NICU families who are experiencing financial difficulties receive $25 gas gift cards to help offset the cost of travel.

Just $25 can make a world of difference in the lives of parents in our community.
